Category:British cheeses
From Cookipedia
British cheesesBritain used to produce many local cheeses which eventually died out, especially after World War II. Fortunately, toward the end of the 20th century, many old cheeses were revived and new ones created. This has led to Britain being able to produce a massive variety of cheeses and the numbers are still growing. Below is a list of subcategories by county of production and below that, an alphabetical list of British cheeses. Beware however, that the names of some cheeses are not necessarily indicative of the county of production!
