Blue Whinnow cheese

Blue Whinnow is a vegetarian, unpasteurised cows’ milk cheese produced by Leonie and Carolyn Fairburn at the Thornby Moor Dairy, Wigton, north Cumbria.

The blue cheese is mild and creamy, yet has a certain sharpness. It is made with the local milk from a single herd.
