Bourgogne (Burgundy) is a region of France and comprises the départements of Côte-d'Or, Saône-et-Loire, Yonne and Nièvre. It is the home of specialities such as Coq au Vin (chicken cooked in red wine sauce), Beouf Bourguignon (cooked in wine and mushrooms), escargots, Jambon Persillé (parsleyed ham) and pears Belle Dijonnaise as well as fine wines. The region's capital is also well-known for its Dijon Mustard.
