Debbie and Andrew's Harrogate 97% Gluten Free Pork Sausages

A really meaty stuffing made with debbie&andrew's 97% pork sausages, ideal for seasonal specials like Christmas dinner, or anytime you want to go that little bit further.

This recipe is also suitable for coeliacs as it it made with gluten free ingredients.

Mise en place

  • Preheat your oven to 190° C (375° F - gas 5), [fan oven 170° C & reduce cooking time by 10 mins per hour]

Method

  1. Grease an ovenproof dish with butter.
  2. Combine the breadcrumbs with the onion and sage in a large mixing bowl, then stir in a little boiling water and mix thoroughly.
  3. Remove the sausages from their skins and use your hands to mix the sausagemeat and egg into the breadcrumbs.
  4. Season well with salt and pepper and place in the prepared ovenproof dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until crispy on top.

Serving suggestions

Serve with roast chicken or – of course - with turkey!
