Italian Liptauer cheese
Italian Liptauer aka Spuma di formaggio all'ungherese is produced in the province of Trieste, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. It is often made at home from Ricotta or Stracchino mixed with paprika, cumin, parsley, onion and other ingredients.
If ready made, it generally comes in small aluminium foil packages and has a spicy, sharp taste.
