Degli Albanesi cheese
Degli Albanesi is a mixed breed, cows’ milk cheese produced in Cavallerizza Cerzeto (Cosenza).
Cylindrical in shape, the cheese has a height of 4-8 cm, a diameter of 15-22 cm and weighs between 1-3 kg. It has a grooved, hard, pale rind with yellow spots and a compact and scaly interior. It has a strong taste intense aroma. It is matured from 6 months to one year.
