Your pics are so beautiful .... Watched some TV (USA) programme and they showed pulled pork - yuk!. I know you have done it yourself, but IMHO it reminded me of when I had to be child-minded in 1962 and was force fed beef which was pulled. I agree that pulled pork, carnitas and its variants don't look very appetising, especially to non meat-eaters, however it's probably one of the best tasting meat dishes around.
Reminds me, my mum (vegetarian most of her life) has started to eat chicken now and then, but never red meat and even the chicken can't look too 'meaty', eg no skin, no bones. --Chef 09:31, 17 October 2010 (BST)
