AĢIN stands for Aizsargāta Ģeogrāfiskās Izcelsmes Norāde which in the UK we know as Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). Under the EU agricultural product quality policy, this "covers agricultural products and foodstuffs closely linked to the geographical area.
