Dragon traditional Caerphilly cheese - General information

Dragon traditional Caerphilly cheese

Milk type

Strength and texture

Description

South Caernarfon Creameries Caerphilly is a traditional Welsh cheese and our Creamery is the only dairy in Wales to still produce this delicious cheese.

Fresh young cheese with a crumbly texture and a mild slightly lemony flavour.

Serving suggestions

Take the Dragon Caerphilly out of the packaging & wrap it in non-stick baking parchment. That combined with leaving at room temperature for a couple of hours before eating makes all the difference to the texture & flavour.

Crumbled over salads and is a perfect alternative to Feta. Try it with a glass of Rose wine.
