This is a fantastic cheese, we used to buy it all the time when on our French camper-van holidays - eventually it had to be banned from the van fridge because of the overpowering smell. It's quite a mild cheese compared to the strength of its smell!

A tip for the really stinky cheeses, put them in a Lock & Lock-type box, in the fridge. --Chef

Oh Chef, you such are a lark as you now like Lock & Lock boxes (although I always buy the originals, much to the annoyance of MAS and MFA)! I have not tried this cheese - is it available in the UK? I am sorry that so many of my recipes have been TM orientated but it is one hell of a gadget!!!!!!!!! You know that you want one and you can have a free demonstration at your house and invite some friends -and NO I get no commision out of it!

I was allowed to buy it by MAS as I am so worried about MAF studying away - she is doing well but she is feeding herself on crapΒ :~( --JuliaBalbilla 22:53, 17 November 2011 (GMT)

I've always liked L&L boxes, though I used them to store electronic components initially, not food!

Its worth trying, but only if it is easily available - Γ‰poisses de Bourgogne is better IMHO.

I think it's great having the pie warmer recipesΒ :-) as it adds another specialist section that many sites don't have. I'll stick to what I have for now though. There is no more room for toys. Anything new now has to go in the conservatory!

Hope all is going well for her and that she's enjoying it down there, even if she is eating crap!

I have just had a really nice email from Indonesia, hence the new section. Maybe another helper too? HL --Chef 10:17, 18 November 2011 (GMT)
