We were made a gift of a 200 gram pack of Maraba coffee beans sourced from Union Hand-Roasted Coffee and I was so impressed with the flavour and uniqueness that I thought I should add it to Cookipedia so it can be reviewed by others so they can enjoy it too.

The beans are grown in Rwanda and are available in the UK from Union Hand-Roasted Coffee.

With these speciality coffees, I prefer to use bottled water as this ensures a perfect froth and no additional 'flavours'.

A cafetiere is probably the favourite way to brew this coffee but I still prefer my Gaggia.

Fruity toffee coffee

5/5

A glorious coffee this one. I drink it instead of afternoon tea. It is not at all strong but has a fruity, almost sweet flavour that leaves you wanting another cup.

Chef's notes

This coffee has notes of citrus fruit, redcurrant and hint of toffee.

It is not a strongly flavoured coffee; I would not have this for breakfast - I drink this in preference to afternoon tea.
