Looks nice - what was it like?

Well it doesn't taste of cider! It is quite crusty and chewy. Tastes fine, but next time I might just use the rye in the ferment and substitute the rye in the dough with white or wholemeal. Managed to get the slashing right this time and used my new couche cloth so that the loaves held their shape whilst proving. I am quite getting into this bread baking lark at the moment and my breadmaker is beginning to feel neglected! --JuliaBalbilla 12:16, 22 July 2011 (BST)
