Saint Agur blue Délice
Saint Agur Blue Délice (Marketed as Crème de Saint Agur in French speaking countries) a soft spreadable version of Saint Agur Blue Cheese. It is a soft blue cheese made from pasteurised cows' milk from the village of Monts du Velay, the mountainous Auvergne region of central France.
It is elaborately packaged in a 140g foil covered round, sat on a plastic mount covered by an octagonal box. it spreads extremely well and is an ideal blue cheese for those who think they do not like blue cheeses.
It has no rind and comes in foil to prevent the cheese from becoming more blue.
I pairs extremely well with crusty bread or a full bodied red wine or port.
