Muhennetut perunat (Finnish stewed potatoes)
- Put the potatoes in a saucepan, to which you have added 375ml of the cream
- Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer
- Gradually add the remaining 125ml of the cream.
- The cream should all be absorbed by the time the potatoes are cooked
- Season and serve, sprinkled with the chopped chives
