La Flor de Ronda is a firm cheese produced from a mixture of cows’ and goats’ milk in the Ronda area of Málaga province. It is unusual in that cows’ milk cheese is normally confined to northern Spain and the Islas Balearas..
The cream coloured cheese has a smooth texture, a strong nutty taste and has a brown rind with a 'basket weave' pattern. It weighs at least 1 kg and is round.
