Method

  1. Beat the eggs and sugar for about 10 minutes until thick and creamy
  2. Sift the flour with the cardamom
  3. Fold in small portions of flour and cream alternatively
  4. Stir in the melted butter and leave the batter to stand for 10 minutes
  5. Heat the waffle iron, pour in the batter, and close the lid
  6. Cook until golden and crisp
