These are just general instructions for cooking pasta in the Thermomix

Ingredients

• 750g water
• Salt
• 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
• 250g pasta

Method

1. Pour the water into the bowl with the salt and olive oil 7 minutes / 100° / Speed 1
2. Add the pasta through the hole in the lid and cook for the number of the minutes it states on the packet / 100° / Speed Spoon.
3. Strain, using the internal steaming basket or the Varoma basket, and serve immediately.

Variations

To cook 500g pasta, use 1500g water and heat for 12 minutes before adding the pasta. Strain through the Varoma basket.
