Tropical Sun pigeon peas

Tropical Sun Pigeon Peas are another one of the nutritionally underrated foods from the Caribbean. They are tender yellowish green peas borne five or six together in green segmented pods and are famously used in the delicious Caribbean and [[Latin American dish, Rice and Peas. Pigeon peas contain high levels of protein and the important amino acids: methionine, lysine and tryptophan.
