Village Green is produced by the Gaylard family Cornish Country Larder at Trevarrian near Newquay.
Matured for at least 6-7 months, the cheese is produced from pasteurised goats’ milk and made with vegetarianrennet. It is a hard cheese with a fruity, crisp, mildish flavour and a smooth, crumbly, dry texture
The cheese is covered in a bright green wax, so is not easy to miss.
