Spice mix for the chicken

I used 4 teaspoons of hot smoked paprika instead of the chilli powder/paprika

Also ground 5 teaspoons black onion seeds instead of onion powder & smoked Maldon sea salt.

Felt perhaps that the cumin could have been reduced.

The recipe for the chicken was enjoyed by all and great fun to make.

Have to be careful in future not to test the chicken with a skewer so vigorously as it made the poor chicken fall over.--JuliaBalbilla 09:31, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Making this tonight with Curry spice mixes and cider. I would recommend 4.5 teaspoons spice mix one and 12 teaspoons spice mix 2 for a rub. --JuliaBalbilla 17:33, 4 August 2009 (BST)
