I HATE Dysons!!! We keep one upstairs for hoovering bedrooms, but useless for downstairs, cat hairs etc. Suction very poor compared to our 'downstairs' Miele. --JuliaBalbilla 14:25, 16 February 2010 (GMT)

Check the filter papers are not blocked, there are usually two of them. They can be hand-washed but don't put them back until they are perfectly dry. Ours has the best suction of any hoover, except we no longer us it since iRobot arrived. --Chef 13:41, 17 February 2010 (GMT)
