I am a Morris Dancer,and have been for over 45 years. During those years most dancing sides that I have been involved in do a dance called "Truncles". However, there does not seem to be such a word in the English Dictionary. This is the first time that I have seen this word in print that does not refer to the dance or a person on a chat page. Can you elucidate exactly what a Truncle is in your area of expertise. I am sure 5000 + Morris Dancers would be intrigued to know what the Dance refers to.
