Cake tin conversion charts
These tables are only relevant if you wish to maintain the same height as the original recipe for your cakes. Additionally, if there's a significant difference between the diameter of the cake you're making and the original one, you may need to adjust the temperature and cooking time accordingly. To calculate the quantity of each ingredient (flour, sugar, etc.) needed for your desired tin size, you must multiply the figure in the last column (X BY) by the original quantity specified.

These tables only apply if the cakes are to be the same height as the original recipe. Also you may need to reduce or increase the temperature and cooking time if there is a large difference between the original cake diameter and the one you are making.  You need to multiply the figure in the last column (X BY) the original quantity given for each ingredient (flour, sugar etc), to calculate what you will need for the tin size you want to use.
Please note that these tables apply only to round cakes of equal size or square cakes of equal size. If you need to convert round to square or square to round, please refer to the information below, which also includes egg quantities.

below for round to square and square to round equivalents, plus egg quantities.
Round to round or square to square only.  See below for round to square and square to round equivalents, plus egg quantities.
