+This model comes with a removable rack, similar to a large toast rack, which is fine for holding small items.  I've found that large items, like [[Sous vide spatchcock chicken with bulb fennel orange and onion|sous-vide whole chicken]] tend to sit on the base of the bath. This means food is likely to get overcooked when in direct contact with the heat source on the base.  I have an Ikea stainless steel saucer (from Ikea) that sits on the bottom of the bath and holds food away from the bottom.  If you do use something like this, ensure it does not cover the chrome thermocouple 'nipple' or the temperature regulation is likely to be badly affected.
