Pakistani basar is a curry masala which which is available in some Asian shops and online from Spices of India. I have never seen a recipe for this mix, but in descending order of quantity, the ingredients are:
Chilli powder, ground coriander, ground turmeric, mustard oil, fenugreek leaves, ground cumin, bay leaves, mustard seeds, ground cardamom, ground cinnamon, ground black pepper, ground cloves, ground fenugreek and ground nutmeg.
It is stated that it should only be consumed after heating to at least 65°C or 150°F. I am not sure of the reason, but it could be because of the inclusion of mustard oil.
