Celery salt

Celery salt is a flavoured salt used as a food seasoning, made from ground lovage seeds, which come from the lovage or "false celery" plant and table salt. It is an ingredient of the Bloody Mary cocktail. It is also commonly used to season the famous Chicago-style hotdog, salads and stews.

Contrary to its name, celery salt is not made from the seeds of the celery plant.
