Too long; didn't read

Too long; didn't read (abbreviated tl;dr and tldr) is a shorthand notation added by an editor indicating a passage appeared to be too long to invest the time to digest.

The tl;dr label is sometimes used constructively by an author to introduce a short summation of a longer piece.

On Cookipedia we use this header as a summary - I do hope on this wiki it is never to indicate a cited passage is being protested!
