Jump to: navigation, search

Carbohydrates are one of the three main classes of food. They are also a source of energy. They are the sugars and starches found in breads, cereals, fruits, and vegetables, which, when digested, are changed into a simple sugar called glucose. Glucose is then stored in the liver until it is required for energy.
