Jura cheese
Jura is a pressed, cooked, unpasteurised cows’ milk cheese from the Franches mountains, close to the border with France. It is part of the Gruyère family, but its reputation on the market has always suffered from the reputation of the authentic Gruyère.
The mature Jura cheese is aged for at least 14 months has a stronger, herbier flavour than Gruyère.
