ABOUT TEESDALE CHEESEMAKERS

Teesdale Cheesemakers were previously Leaside Cheesemakers, founded by Brian and Esme Dedman in 2012. The husband and wife team of Allison and Jonathan Raper took over the business in January 2016.

OUR PRODUCTS

Teesdale Cheesemakers make four soft cheeses: Teesdale Blue, Teesdale White, Teesdale Goat (launched in October 2016), & flavoured Teesdale Curd cheeses.

AWARDS

At the Great Yorkshire Show in 2013 Teesdale Blue cheese was awarded First Prize in it's class and was also given the prestigious Prince of Wales Award for Outstanding Quality in Dairy Products. The White Hilton was awarded Second Prize in it's class.

WHERE TO BUY

Their cheeses are sold at a number of local farmers markets and food festivals see Events, and can arrange local delivery for larger orders. They also supply a number of local outlets, listed on their website under Where to Buy. You can find the restaurants that use our cheeses on their menus there too. Finally you can buy their cheeses directly from their their on-line Shop.

Please note they do not sell direct from the dairy.
