Smokey Barbecue and Apple Powder Sauce Mix has a wonderful strong aroma and flavour of hickory smoke and sweet apple, it can be used as a dry rub to [[Marinate|marinate]] [[Meat|meat]], [[Poultry|poultry]] and [[Vegetables|vegetables]] prior to [[Roasting|roasting]], [[Grilling|grilling]] or [[Barbecuing|barbecuing]] or mixed with water (full instructions on label), to make a thick strong barbecue paste or by increasing the water content to make a wonderful rich and fruity dipping or pouring [[Barbecue sauce|barbecue sauce]].

I had been sent a sample of this used it in an experimental recipe: [[Cabbage surprise]] - it was a superb success, due in no small part to the incredible flavours from this sauce.
