Why is there a link from the word 'hand' in Method Point 5 to bacon?

  • My recipe builder program automatically links any word that matches an ingredient or recipe that exists as a Cookipedia page or alias. It really should have been manually removed at the final edit stage.

Do you need to sterilise your hand in anyway (boiling water, for example??) before sticking it into warm milk? Surely a utensil of some sort is better?

  • I'll change to spoon, though I always use hands when making cheese - I wash them in the cheese first? ;-)
