A stinger is a Duo cocktail made by adding crème de menthe to a spirit.

The classic recipe is based on brandy and white crème de menthe, shaken and served in a cocktail glass.


Ingredients

  • 2 ounces brandy
  • 1 ounce white crème de menthe
  • Fresh sprigs of mint


Method

  1. Stir with ice.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Serving suggestions

A "vodka stinger" uses vodka instead of brandy.
