Origin
- This cheese is also known as Tome au Poirvre and Lou Pèbre and is produced in a single farm in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence département of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur of France. It has all the characteristic and individual aromas of the south of France.

- Soft cheese, of the Banon type, with a white bloomy rind, which can be covered in ground peppercorns, in which case it is known as Lou pevre poivre
Milk type
Aroma and taste
- By using a unique maturation method, the cheese has a peppery taste and is sprinkled with a little cumin. The spiciness reduces the acidity of the fresh goats' milk.
Strength and texture
- Medium to strong flavour, matured 3 weeks. It has a fine texture and a thin, dry, rough rind, which can be coated with ground peppercorns.
