Method

  1. Season the meat with the salt and pepper
  2. Heat the butter in a pot and sautΓ© the meat and onions over a high heat until lightly browned.
  3. Add the flour and gently cook, stirring for 4 minutes.
  4. Gradually add the stock, stirring up the browned bits at the bottom of the pan
  5. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer, covered, over a low heat for 1Β½ hours.

Serving suggestions

Serve with boiled potatoes and Kruidige rodekool (Spiced red cabbage).
