This wiki cheese category page contains detailed information and photographs of cheeses produced in the Spanish region of Aragón.

Further information

Located in north-eastern Spain, Aragón comprises three provinces from north to south: Huesca, Zaragoza, and Teruel. Its terrain ranges diversely from permanent glaciers, to verdant valleys, rich pasture lands and orchards, through to the arid steppe plains of the central lowlands. Because of this, Aragón can produce a wide variety of food and is one of the richest regions in Spain. Aragón's cheeses have not yet achieved much fame outside of the region, but there is great variety: raw or pasteurised milk, ewe, goat or cow, fresh or cured and therefore available for all tastes.
