Caciotta is an artisan, semi-soft, cheese made from about 70% ewes’ and 30% cows’ milk and has been produced in Umbria and Tuscany for many years.

The cheese, which popular throughout Italy has a firm, creamy consistency, and has a full flavour that ranges from mild to tangy as it matures.

Caciotta is also known as Casciotta di Urbino cheese.
