Wigmore is an unpasteurised, ewe’s milk, semi-soft [[cheese]] from Village Maid Cheese in Riseley, Berkshire.  It is a washed, curd [[cheese]], which means that some of the whey is washed from the [[cheese]] keeping the finished item mild and sweet. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The cheese itself is generally soft and creamy with flavours varying with the seasons according to what the sheep are eating.   It has a bloomy rind and is suitable for vegetarians.  The [[cheeses]] weigh about 1.4 kg, have a diameter of between 20-25 cm and are 4-5 cm in height.&lt;br /&gt;
