Village Green is produced by the Gaylard family Cornish Country Larder at Trevarrian near Newquay.

Matured for at least 6-7 months, the [[cheese]] is produced from pasteurised goats’ [[milk]] and made with vegetarian[[ rennet]]. It is a hard [[cheese]] with a fruity, crisp, mildish flavour and a smooth, crumbly, dry texture

The [[cheese]] is covered in a bright green wax, so is not easy to miss.
