I feel it is useful to have this information in one place.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==How it cleans itself== &lt;br /&gt;
Squirt a tiny amount of washing-up liquid into the Thermomix bowl and add 1 litre hot water.  Pulse on &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Turbo&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; setting for about &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;3-8 seconds&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, depending how dirty the bowl is.  Rinse under a hot tap and replace onto the base.  You can dry it by placing a tea towel in it and running for &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;a few seconds on REVERSE speed 2&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You can also give the bowl an occasional &amp;#039;spring clean&amp;#039;.  Wash the bowl as normal and add:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* 3 tsps [[bicarbonate of soda]]&lt;br /&gt;
* Enough tap water to cover the blades&lt;br /&gt;
* 1-2 tbsps white [[vinegar]]&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Set to &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;10 minutes / 90° / Speed 3&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Leave to rest for a further &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;10 minutes&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Wash with washing-up liquid as above, then rinse and dry.&lt;br /&gt;

==Steaming ingredients in the Varoma basket==&lt;br /&gt;
