Try [[Basa]] - it's amazingly cheap, nicer than cod (IMHO), firm like [[monkfish]], it tastes really fishy and it's sustainable.<br />

I saw a TV news report / blind tasting a few months back where almost everyone thought the basa was the best (and therefore thought it was the cod). <br />
<br />
The reason it was in the news was because chip shops had been selling the cheaper basa as cod.<br />
