Just remembered that Thermomixes are supposed to be better than wet grinders for dealing with rice for rotis and idlis - still have to try this.  Also for the coconut flakes / water mixture, there would be no need to drain off the flakes as they would whizz up smoothly with the water :-) JB xx&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
