There seemed to be an extra Point 3 which just said "Soak two.."

Pardon me if I've deleted an essential step in the recipe. I've racked my brains to think what it should have been but to no avail.

You might be right but the love for Daddies sauce is sort of inbuilt: When at secondard school, my mate (now a pillar of society http://tinyurl.com/d7ajtm2) and I used to regularly skip school, get a bus red rover and visit the science museum (almost defeating the object of truant!) Either on the way there, or back, somehow we would end up on Chelsea bridge by a hot dog van, hot dog, onions and Daddies sauce. And there it stuck!
