The cup measures on the Conversions page are UK 10 oz cups, seldom used in practice<br />
The most commonly used cup measures are American (US) and are 8 oz/240 ml<br />
Australians use metric cups of 250 ml<br />

Hi. I agree that in the UK our measurements are now generally given as fluid ounces and /or millilitres, but many older British recipes did use UK cup measurements. However, I am sure that we can add the US/Australian cup measures as well, to the conversion page.
