One of the locally grown [[Potato|potato]] varieties is Sagitta. It's an early cropper and is grown by Mike Scott of Bottom Laddus Farms in Well End, Friday Bridge, Norfolk for the Scottish [[Chip|chip]] maket. As we know they are grown for chipping we took a chance and got a 25kg bag.

I'm glad we did - they make the most fantastic [[Chips|chips]] - even easier for us as we have a pretty decent [[Potato chipper|potato chipper]].

Served with Goddards [[Chicken|chicken]] nuggets, they were fabulous.

| Cut the [[Potatoes|potatoes]] into fairly thin [[Chips|chips]], using a [[Potato chipper|potato chipper]] if you have one
| They should be slightly thicker than MacDonalds fries
| Rinse them well in cold water to remove excess [[Starch|starch]]
| Using a [[Salad spinner|salad spinner]] or [[Tea towel|tea towel]], [[Dry|dry]] them off
| Add 1 tablespoon [[Olive oil|olive oil]] to your [[Air Fryer|air fryer]] and air-[[Fry|fry]] for around 45 minutes
| Our latest [[Tefal Air fryer|tefal air fryer]] takes longer than the previous ones did; just keep your eye one them.
| The [[Chicken|chicken]] nuggets take around 15 minutes - we have a second [[Air Fryer|air fryer]] so they go in there
| They would cook fairly well in with the [[Chips|chips]] if you've only got the one [[Air Fryer|air fryer]].
