Ramounet is a mixed [[Milk|milk]] ([[Cow|cow]] and ewe) [[Cheese|cheese]] from the Hautes-Alpes département of the [[French]] region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d&amp;#039;Azur.  The cheese is pressed, uncooked and has a bloomy grey rind.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The [[Cheese|cheese]], which can weigh between 1.5 and 2kg, has a round shape, a diameter of 17cm and a height of 7cm.  It is matured for 6 weeks to 3 months and is suited as an addition to cheeseboards, in [[Salads|salads]], or melted on toast.&lt;br /&gt;
