We use our [[Air fryer|Air Fryer(s)]] on almost a daily basis, so they get well used. The [[ActiFry AL806040 Air Fryer|Tefal 'paddle-type' Air Fryers]] are probably the best for chips, but are very expensive and the [[Tefal paddle breaks regularly|Tefal Actifry Air Fryer paddle breaks]] if you use them a lot. We recently invested in a Pro Breeze XL 5.5L Air Fryer [£80 - March 2020]. We have been very pleased with it, especially as it has a good timer system which can turn the fryer off completely, rather than just beeping at you, which is all the early Tefal version did.

The Pro Breeze XL has lots of pre-sets to help you quickly select the correct cooking time and temperature for each food-type. It's also plenty big enough for four people.

We tend to use this air fryer as an alternative to a conventional Fan Oven, for cooking foods like frozen battered fish, steaks, chicken pieces and especially chicken nuggets.

It's also dishwasher safe, so once it has cooled, we just turn it upside-down and drop it in the dishwasher.

I can personally vouch for this as a '''very good product''' - and I have nothing to do with Pro-Breeze or benefit from such a recommendation in any way.
===Cooking temperature and times===
The following image from Pro-Breeze shows the pre-set cooking times and temperatures for various food types; [[Chips]], [[Chicken]], [[Fish]], [[Lamb chops]], [[Cake]], [[Steak]], [[Prawns]] ([[shrimp]]) I suspect this picture has been created with a little poetic licence, as the chicken and the steaks will only look as pictured if they went into the air fryer as pictured - direct from the freezer!
