| Drain and rinse the [[Beans|beans]] and place in a large pan.&lt;br /&gt;
| Cover with water, bring to the [[Boil|boil]] and boil vigorously for 10 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;
| Reduce the heat and [[Simmer|simmer]] for 1-1&amp;amp;frac12; hours until tender.&lt;br /&gt;
| Drain and set aside, reserving half of the [[Bean|bean]] liquid.&lt;br /&gt;
| Heat the [[Oil|oil]] in a large saucepan, add the [[Onions|onions]] and [[Fry|fry]] until soft.&lt;br /&gt;
| Stir in the [[Garlic|garlic]] and [[Paprika|paprika]] and [[Fry|fry]] for a further 5 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;
| Add the remaining ingredients and [[Simmer|simmer]] for 15 minutes to blend the flavours.&lt;br /&gt;
