Musulupu is a mixture of ewes’ and goats’ [[milk]] [[cheese]], produced in the province of Reggio Calabria. It has Greek-Albanian origins and is usually made to order for the Greek Orthodox clergy at Easter.

The [[curd]] is kneaded by hand then shaped into spheres and left on slanting wooden shelves. It is then heated and placed into wooden moulds. On the sides of the [[cheese]] are iconic symbols of the Orthodox Church caused by the mould.

The [[cheese]] has an inlaid rind the interior is soft, white and uniform. The flavour and aroma is sweet and milky. It has a diameter of 10-12 cm, a height of 4-5 cm and weighs 200-400 g.

The [[cheese]] is eaten with fresh seasonal vegetables, pasta and even used as a basis for puddings.
