Metsovone (Greek: Μετσοβόνε) is a traditional Greek [[cheese]] produce from cows’ [[milk]] but mixtures with small quantities of ewes’ or goats’ [[milk]] are also used. With [[:Category:Greek recipes|Protected Designation of Origin (Προστατευόμενη Ονομασία Προέλευσης)]] it is produced in the region of Metsovo (Epirus) from where it gets its name.

It is a semi-hard, smoked [[cheese]], of "pasta filata" type, is considered an excellent quality table [[cheese]].
